Announcing our latest launch – Thule.com
After a two-year gestation period, the baby has arrived. Thule, a world leader in transportation accessories, now has a beautiful new international site – Thule.com – with a customized Sitecore CMS. It was designed by our multi-talented brand experience team and built by our big-hearted, over-caffeinated and sleep-deprived developers. And it couldn’t have happened without our account service/project management wizards working behind the scenes, guiding the project to completion.
Thanks to everyone on our extended Thule team, in North America and Europe/Asia, for working together to make this complex, amazing solution possible.

Our LaptopWear design featured on ABC’s “Castle”
We admit it. It’s hard not to be excited about seeing our design on a hit national TV show.
Yesterday, our client – Jan McCallum at Chartwell Studio, Inc. – let us know that our purple paisley design was front and center in the very beginning of Castle: When The Bough Breaks (Season 2, Episode 5).

Trek Lime wins Cooper-Hewitt 2009 People’s Design Award
Many, many congratulations to our client, Trek, on winning the prestigious Cooper-Hewitt People’s Design Award for the beautiful Trek Lime bike. We were proud to be a part of the Trek Lime story and are happy to see Lime’s product design get the recognition it so very much deserves.

The Smithsonian’s Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum presented its fourth People’s Design Award to the Trek Lime bicycle Thursday, Oct. 22, at its 10th annual National Design Awards gala in New York. Tyler Florence, host of Food Network’s “Tyler’s Ultimate,” announced the winning design and presented the award to Hans Eckholm, senior industrial designer for Trek Bicycles.
After thousands of votes were cast during the course of one month on Cooper-Hewitt’s Web site, the Lime–a coasting bike designed for the casual rider interested in biking for recreation and convenience purposes–emerged as the public’s favorite design.

HDC nominated for Pixel Awards
We’re very happy to announce that our web sites for Trek Project One and The Wolverine 1000 Mile Boot Collection are nominated for 2009 Pixel Awards. The 100 Pixel Award nominees, five for each category, were chosen from over 1,000 entries.
The Wolverine 1000 Mile Boot Collection site is nominated in the Fashion category.

Rapha Performance Roadwear: Focusing On the Details.
Rapha has long been one of my favorite active apparel companies…the perfect combination of cycling and design. Every time I visit their site I’m reminded of two things:
1. There aren’t enough outdoor apparel companies focused on making highly-detailed and functional products for men.
2. Wearing a favorite article of clothing can really motivate you to get out there and feel the burn. Isolation trailer

As design professionals, we’re very, very happy to announce that our client, Trek Bicycle Corporation, is nominated for a 2009 People’s Design Award for its Lime bike product design.
